Types of PTE exams
PTE Academic
The PTE exam takes about two hours to complete, and the pattern has four sections: Writing, Speaking, Reading and Listening It is important to keep in mind that there is no set number of questions for any section.
PTE General
The General version is divided into two segments: writing and speaking, which is intended to assess reading, listening, writing, and speaking abilities to talk in English. Understanding the six proficiency levels assessed on the PTE General exam is essential. The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is connected to these levels.
